SQW chair (skew chair) is inspired by a drawing technique called iso-metric drawings. When seen in plan it looks like an iso-metric drawing of a normal chair.
Three intersecting plains skewed at an angle give very dynamic form to this chair. It almost looks as if it is unstable cantilever, but actually the center of gravity is very well balanced. SQW chair prototype is made with ply wood, which was painted afterwords.
